Letterboxd Outage Locks Millions Out of Their Accounts

Letterboxd, the film-review social network, went down Sunday morning, locking users out of both the mobile app and the website as sign-ins fail. DownDetector logged more than 1,000 reports, and Letterboxd posted a brief Instagram update saying the team is working to restore access. The outage affects a platform with roughly 30 million users, and reports from Variety indicate Letterboxd has been in early talks with potential buyers, including Netflix, Paramount, Sony Pictures, and others.
