TL;DR

In the season 2 finale of "Yellowjackets," Natalie is anointed as the new leader of the group, while adult Natalie is killed. Shauna is spared from murder charges, and Lottie is shipped off to another mental institution. The showrunners reset the narrative, leaving the teens without shelter and with uncertain futures. The episode features poignant music cues and moments of transcendence, but the season as a whole was uneven.
