A Texas megachurch pastor, Rev. Dr. Ralph D. West II, has been ordered to pay $2.45 million to a woman after a jury found him liable for giving her genital herpes. The woman claimed that West had lied to her about his disease status, and she was able to identify him as the source of her outbreak through medical records and the fact that she hadn't been with anyone else. West, the founder of Houston's Church Without Walls, has not responded to the judgment.
