The majority of eligible Americans have not received updated Covid vaccines, flu shots, or RSV shots, according to the CDC, as the country approaches the holiday season with increased travel and gatherings. Experts are urging people to get vaccinated to protect against the tripledemic of Covid, flu, and respiratory syncytial virus. However, recent data shows low vaccination rates, with only 14.8% of adults receiving the updated Covid vaccine, 36.3% getting flu shots, and 14.3% of eligible adults 60 years or older receiving RSV vaccines. Concerns about Covid have decreased, with almost 50% of adults not planning to get the new vaccine and 75% expressing little worry about getting Covid during the holidays.
