"Flesh-eating bacteria spread through family bites in Florida"

A man from Florida was bitten by a family member during a dispute and went to the hospital for a tetanus shot and antibiotics. However, his leg became increasingly sore and painful, and he was rushed to the ER where he was diagnosed with necrotizing fasciitis, commonly known as flesh-eating bacteria. He underwent surgery to remove the infected tissue but was able to keep his leg. The bacteria is commonly found in the mouth and gums.
