The Uncertainty of AI in Diagnosing Multiple Sclerosis

AI is being studied to detect and highlight changes on brain MRIs for multiple sclerosis (MS) patients. A study review predicts that AI can drastically change the way MS patients are monitored and diagnosed. However, doctors caution that AI has the potential for harm, failure to perform, and furtherance of inequity. They suggest a code of conduct for AI in healthcare to ensure healthcare ethics, oaths, and standards are followed.
