Fatal West Columbia Crash: Suspect Arrested and Identified, Remains in Jail

The Lexington County Coroner's Office has identified the two individuals who were killed in a crash at the intersection of 12th Street and B Avenue in West Columbia as Cornelius Alexander Clory, 68, and Leeya Janae Leaverette, 17. Clory's vehicle was struck from behind, resulting in the deaths of both Clory and Leaverette. The driver of the other vehicle, Joshua Yarborough, 24, has been charged with felony DUI resulting in death and leaving the scene of an accident. The West Columbia Police Department and the Lexington County Coroner's Office are conducting an ongoing investigation into the incident.
