"Ohio Governor Issues Eclipse Preparedness Order as State Agencies Warn of Potential Challenges"

Ohio Governor Mike DeWine has signed an executive order to ensure the state is prepared for the total solar eclipse happening on April 8th. The order directs all state departments to increase staffing and come up with plans ahead of time to ensure the safety and well-being of residents and visitors during and after the celestial event. The Ohio Emergency Management Agency is urging travelers to be prepared, and the Ohio Department of Transportation will treat the eclipse like a major travel holiday by restricting roadwork and reducing active work zones. Ohio State Highway Patrol will also increase visibility to help drivers leading up to the eclipse.
