TL;DR

Multiple schools in Pennsylvania, including Central Catholic and Oakland Catholic high schools in Pittsburgh, received computer-generated "swatting calls" reporting active shooters. Police responded with a large presence, but no active shooter was found and there were no injuries. Similar reports were received for schools outside of the county. Law enforcement is treating each incident seriously and thoroughly checking out any reports. New Castle High School was also put on lockdown but was cleared by law enforcement.
