DeSantis voids Disney deals with new Florida law.

Florida Governor Ron DeSantis has signed a bill into law that allows the board overseeing government services at Walt Disney World to void development agreements that had already been approved for the resort. The current board, appointed by DeSantis, contends that the agreements are illegal and voted to nullify them. Disney and the board have already sued each other over the development agreements, and the matter is awaiting to be addressed by the judicial system. The conflict between DeSantis and Disney started last year when the company opposed contentious state education legislation.
