Fox Corp's $787.5 million settlement with Dominion Voting Systems over defamation charges is unlikely to cost the media company the full amount due to insurance coverage and tax deductions. The settlement is expected to be paid during the current quarter, and after deducting the settlement from its income taxes, Fox is estimated to incur about three-fourths of the settlement amount, or about $590 million. Fox has also said it doesn't expect the settlement to affect its operations, and analysts believe the company will be able to run its business as usual.
