"Community Seeks Justice for 6-Year-Old Wadee Al-Fayoume in Illinois Court Case"
TL;DR
Odai Al-Fayoume, the father of 6-year-old Wadee Al-Fayoume who was killed in an alleged Islamophobic attack by their landlord, Joseph Czuba, in Illinois, called for justice at a vigil. Czuba, accused of stabbing Wadee 26 times and attacking the boy's mother, pleaded not guilty to multiple charges including first-degree murder and hate crimes. Amidst rising antisemitic and Islamophobic incidents in the U.S., the father's plea emphasized the need to confront prejudice and embrace diversity.
