"Controversy Erupts Over Nonbinary Student's Death and Bathroom Brawl"
TL;DR
Newly released video shows nonbinary student Nex Benedict recounting a bathroom brawl to a cop, where they were allegedly attacked by a group of girls after pouring water on them in response to being bullied. Nex died the following day, and their family is seeking answers and accountability, as they believe the relentless bullying Nex faced due to their gender identity was overlooked by school administrators and faculty. The family is conducting their own investigation into Nex's death, as preliminary autopsy results indicate that trauma may not have been the cause.
