In Ohio, a smoke shop manager, Tony Thacker, was indicted on multiple charges, including felonious assault, after fatally shooting a teenage robbery suspect. Hamilton County Prosecutor Melissa Powers warned that robbers should "expect to be shot" at retail stores, emphasizing zero tolerance for retail thefts.
