Alleged posthumous fraud: Biffle's friends accused of draining his accounts after his death

Investigators say that after Greg Biffle and his wife died in a December plane crash, friends of the NASCAR star accessed his and Christina Biffle’s financial accounts, changing contact details to siphon funds to other accounts and making purchases. A Jan. 7–8 break-in at the Biffle home yielded security footage showing a woman inside the residence for hours before leaving with bags. Two estates filed wrongful-death claims against Biffle’s estate alleging he was at fault for the doomed flight, though no arrests have been reported as the investigation continues.
