American Comedian and Activist Abducted and Murdered in Colombia

American comedian and activist Tou Ger Xiong was abducted and fatally stabbed by a group of men in Colombia after going on a date with a woman he met on social media. Xiong had planned to meet the woman but was attacked and kidnapped. His body was found with multiple stab wounds and bruises caused by an apparent fall. Local law enforcement confirmed that the suspects murdered Xiong before a payment was made, and an investigation is underway. One suspect has been apprehended. Xiong, who was of Hmong ancestry, was known for sharing his personal stories to address racial discrimination. US Senator Amy Klobuchar expressed condolences and is working to bring Xiong's body back to Minnesota.
