Angry Great Bend Man Arrested for Bringing Air Rifle to Sheriff's Office

A 28-year-old man from Great Bend, Kansas, was arrested after entering the sheriff's office with an air rifle. He was reportedly angry about being served a protection from abuse order earlier in the day. The man threatened sheriff's office personnel and appeared agitated, but was disarmed without any injuries. He has been booked into the Barton County Jail on suspicion of aggravated assault of a law enforcement officer, aggravated assault, and other charges.
