Another Woman Vanishes During Cross-Country Trip with Boyfriend

Nikki Alcaraz, a 33-year-old woman from Tennessee, has gone missing while on a cross-country road trip with her boyfriend Tyler Stratton and their dog. The couple had a run-in with the police in New Mexico, where a witness saw Stratton punch Alcaraz in the face. Alcaraz's sister last heard from her on May 8, and their phones have been turned off since. The case shares similarities with the disappearance of Gabby Petito, who was also on a road trip with her boyfriend when she went missing. Alcaraz's 2013 Jeep Wrangler was last picked up by a license plate reader near Flagstaff, AZ on May 9. Anyone with information is asked to call Moriarty, NM police.
