Army Sergeant Daniel Perry Convicted of Murder in George Floyd Protester's Death.

Daniel Perry, an Army sergeant, has been found guilty of murder for the death of a man during a 2020 Black Lives Matter protest in Austin, Texas. Perry fired five shots from inside his car, hitting Garrett Foster multiple times, who was armed with an assault-style weapon and was one of the protesters who surrounded the car. Perry was also charged with aggravated assault with a deadly weapon, but the jury found him not guilty of that charge.
