"Braces' Rubber Bands Connect Homeless Sex Offender to Assault"

A homeless sex offender, Charles Taylor, was arrested in Baltimore after packets of rubber bands from his dental braces were found at the crime scene. Detectives traced the rubber bands to a dental office and identified Taylor as the suspect. Taylor allegedly assaulted a 71-year-old woman in Leakin Park, dragging her into his tent, tying her to a chair, and sexually assaulting her. The victim managed to escape and led police to Taylor's hideout, where they found incriminating evidence. Taylor has a history of sexual offenses and was charged with assault, sex offense, kidnapping, and reckless endangerment.
