Brave 13-year-old thwarts attempted kidnapping with slingshot.

A 13-year-old boy in Michigan used a slingshot to save his 8-year-old sister from an attempted kidnapping by a 17-year-old boy. The older brother saw the suspect trying to abduct his sister and fired his slingshot at him, striking him in the head and chest. The suspect was later caught by state troopers and admitted to planning to severely beat the little girl. He has been charged as an adult with attempted kidnapping/child enticement, attempted assault, and battery.
