California Teen Charged in Nationwide Swatting Spree

A 17-year-old from California, Alan Filion, has been charged in Florida for allegedly orchestrating numerous swatting incidents and bomb threats across the United States, including targeting a mosque with a mass shooting threat. He faces multiple felony charges and is accused of making false reports while showing prejudice and furthering acts of terrorism. Law enforcement, in collaboration with the FBI and the Department of Justice, tracked the 911 call to Filion's home and arrested him. He has pleaded not guilty and remains in custody.
