Clackamas County Deputy Kills Armed Shooting Suspect

A Clackamas County sheriff's deputy shot and killed an armed suspect in Happy Valley, Oregon, after the suspect allegedly fired first. The suspect had shot and injured another person before fleeing the scene in a car. The deputy chased the car and the suspect then shot at the deputy, who returned fire and struck the suspect. The suspect was taken to a nearby hospital and later died. The deputy involved has been put on paid leave, and an investigation is ongoing.
