"Convicted: Man Sentenced to Prison for Murdering Sister in Witchcraft Belief"

Anthony Dibella has been sentenced to 18 years to life in prison for murdering his sister, Wanda Paoli, whom he believed to be a witch. Dibella repeatedly stabbed her in the head, neck, and face, stating that she was "getting in the way of me communicating to God" and that he was "done with her witchcraft." Police received a call from Dibella, who reported the killing, and when they arrived at the scene, they found Paoli dead on the porch. Dibella pleaded guilty to second-degree murder and two counts of criminal possession of a weapon.
