Davis residents urged to shelter in place after multiple stabbings.

Davis Police Department has issued a shelter in place order after a third stabbing in less than a week. The suspect is described as a male wearing all dark clothing, possibly a blue shirt, jeans carrying a black backpack and black Adidas with stripes. The FBI has been called in to help with the investigation into stabbings that have set the small college town on edge. UC Davis is increasing escort availability for its Safe Ride program for students.
