Donna Adelson Arrested for Plotting Murder and Fleeing to Vietnam

Donna Adelson, the mother of a Florida dentist convicted in a murder-for-hire killing, has been arrested on charges of murder, conspiracy, and solicitation in connection with the 2014 killing of Florida State law professor Dan Markel. Donna Adelson's son, Charlie Adelson, was convicted a week prior. She is the second member of her family and the fifth person to be charged in the case. Donna Adelson was intercepted at Miami International Airport with one-way plane tickets to Vietnam, and officials believe she was attempting to flee the country.
