A 42-year-old man was arrested in Portland after driving his pickup truck through the Grand Floral Parade route, nearly hitting parade goers and volunteers. The driver, identified as Sidney Sean Mecham, was charged with recklessly endangering another person, disorderly conduct, eluding police, reckless driving, and a previous hit-and-run. He also faces charges for driving with a suspended license, failure to obey a police officer, and driving without insurance.
