Drunken Driver Strikes Spectators at California Christmas Parade

Alan Booth, a 72-year-old man from Bakersfield, was identified as the alleged drunken driver who struck three men before the start of the Bakersfield Parade. Booth was arrested for felony charges of driving under the influence, but is not currently in custody. The three injured men, aged 21, 32, and 77, are in stable condition after suffering skeletal and bone-fracture injuries.
