A driver in Las Vegas is facing charges of reckless driving resulting in death, DUI, and possession of a gun while under the influence of alcohol or drugs after striking and killing a pedestrian who was standing in the middle of the road. The driver showed signs of impairment and was arrested. The victim's identity has not been released, and the death will not be counted as a traffic-related fatality until the coroner completes an investigation.
