Engaged Attorney Accused of Boston Rapes to be Extradited

Attorney Matthew Nilo, accused of a series of sexual assaults in Boston in 2007 and 2008, has been charged with rape, kidnapping, and assault counts. Nilo, who is formerly from the city's North End, was arrested in New Jersey and will plead not guilty. Investigators used investigative genetic genealogy to identify Nilo, who is an accused serial rapist and kidnapper. Four victims have been waiting years to learn the identity of their attacker.
