Ex-boyfriend stabs girl and mom in Ponte Vedra sports bar, slicing throat.

A 17-year-old girl was stabbed 15 times along with her mother and another patron at a Ponte Vedra Beach sports bar and restaurant by her ex-boyfriend, Spencer Ross Pearson, before a bystander intervened and Pearson began cutting his own throat. Pearson was charged with two counts of attempted premeditated first-degree murder and one for aggravated battery with a deadly weapon. The victims were hospitalized, and the girl's family said she has a spinal cord injury, while her mother suffered cuts to the face and thigh. The bystander, Kennedy Armstrong, and his friend, Jimmy Stepp, were injured while stopping the attack.
