Ex-cop convicted of George Floyd's murder pleads guilty to tax evasion.

Derek Chauvin, the former police officer convicted of killing George Floyd, has pleaded guilty to tax evasion in Minnesota. Chauvin admitted to hiding tens of thousands of dollars from the state and pleaded guilty to two counts of tax evasion. He is already serving a 22 1/2-year sentence for Floyd's murder. Chauvin and his ex-wife were accused of shortchanging the state of Minnesota by allegedly failing to pay taxes on $464,433 of joint income from 2014 through 2019.
