Fatal Accident: Greenfield Police Officer Accidentally Runs Over Woman, Resulting in Tragic Death

A Milwaukee woman, Tracie Dorpat, was accidentally run over and killed by a Greenfield police officer who was responding to a welfare check call. The officer was unaware that Dorpat was lying in the roadway when the incident occurred. Despite rendering aid and calling for an ambulance, Dorpat later died at the hospital. The incident is under investigation by the Milwaukee Area Investigative Team, and the officer involved is on administrative leave. The Milwaukee County District Attorney's office will conduct an independent review of the case.
