Fatal Shooting in East Nashville Leads to Arrest

An East Nashville man, Lewis Thomas, has been arrested and charged with criminal homicide and evidence tampering after shooting and killing his girlfriend, Latoria Mitchell. The incident occurred after an argument at a local nightclub, where Thomas was escorted out. Later that night, Thomas went to Mitchell's apartment, where another argument broke out and he shot her multiple times. Thomas was quickly located and admitted to the shooting, as well as disposing of the gun used.
