FBI successfully rescues hostages in major operation in Houston's Greenspoint area.

The FBI in Houston conducted a multi-day operation to rescue hostages in the Greenspoint area, resulting in the rescue of all hostages and one person dead following an agent-involved shooting. The operation was initiated to assist the Waller County Sheriff's Office. The scene is still being processed by the FBI's Evidence Response Team, and an FBI Shooting Incident Review Team will investigate. There is no threat to public safety at this time.
