"Florida Couple Faces Child Neglect Charges After Passing Out Drunk on Beach with Children Unattended"

A couple from Georgia was arrested in Daytona Beach, Florida, after they passed out drunk on the beach, leaving their 5 and 7-year-old children unsupervised. Deputies found the unconscious couple surrounded by empty alcohol containers and children's toys. The children were later found swimming unsupervised at a nearby pool. The couple, both 27, was arrested on charges of child neglect, with the man facing additional charges for having alcohol on the beach and attempting to escape. The children were taken to a family resource center and later returned to Georgia.
