Florida Woman Granted Bond After Fatally Shooting Neighbor, Including Racial Slurs in Past Affidavit.

A Florida woman, Susan Louise Lorincz, who is charged with fatally shooting her Black neighbor, Ajike Owens, through her front door, has been granted a $154,000 bond. Lorincz pleaded not guilty to a first-degree felony charge of manslaughter with a firearm, as well as counts of culpable negligence, battery, and assault. The family of Owens is pushing for Lorincz to face a more serious charge of second-degree murder. Lorincz claimed she had problems with being disrespected by children in the neighborhood, including Owens' children, who are ages 12, 9, 7, and 3. Lorincz fired a single round from her .380-caliber handgun, which went through the closed door and fatally struck Owens.
