Florida woman to appear in court for fatal shooting of mother in neighborhood feud.

Susan Louise Lorincz, a Florida woman, is expected to appear in court for manslaughter charges after fatally shooting Ajike “AJ” Owens, a Black mother, through her front door. Owens confronted Lorincz after she yelled at Owens’ children and threw a roller skate at her 10-year-old son. Lorincz claimed self-defense, but investigators determined her actions were not justifiable under Florida law. Lorincz is also facing charges of culpable negligence, battery, and two counts of assault. Owens’ family has accused Lorincz of harassing the children and calling them racial slurs.
