Former Officer Chauvin Pleads Guilty to Tax Evasion.

Derek Chauvin, the former Minneapolis police officer convicted of murdering George Floyd, has pleaded guilty to federal charges of tax evasion. Chauvin admitted to underreporting his income from 2014 to 2019, resulting in a tax loss of over $100,000. He faces up to five years in prison and a $250,000 fine for the tax evasion charges, in addition to his 22.5-year sentence for Floyd's murder.
