Greenville officers assaulted during routine call for service.

Three police officers in Greenville, South Carolina were assaulted while responding to a call about a dispute. The suspect, who was still at the scene, displayed aggressive behavior and resisted arrest, striking one officer in the face several times, biting another officer multiple times, and punching a third officer in the face. The suspect, a 55-year-old man, was detained and is expected to be charged with three counts of assault and battery of a high and aggravated nature and three counts of assaulting a police officer. The officers received medical treatment for their injuries.
