"Indianapolis Police Shoot 2 in Downtown Incident Near Lucas Oil Stadium"

Two armed robbery suspects were shot by SWAT officers near Lucas Oil Stadium in Indianapolis after a reported armed robbery at a south side business. The suspects, a man and a woman, were listed in critical condition. The SWAT team located the suspects' vehicle and attempted to stop it, but the passenger began firing shots at officers. Several officers returned fire, striking both suspects. No officers or stadium employees were injured. The shooting is under investigation, and the officers involved will be placed on administrative leave.
