Jan. 6 Rioter Sentenced to 4 Years for Stealing John Lewis Photo from Pelosi's Office

Kevin Lyons, a self-described "idiot" who participated in the Jan. 6 Capitol riot, was sentenced to over four years in federal prison for stealing a wallet and a framed photo of the late Rep. John Lewis from Nancy Pelosi's office. U.S. District Judge Beryl Howell criticized Lyons for his conduct and heckling of officers, calling the attack on the Capitol "fascistic." Lyons recorded himself stealing the items and later bragged about being a "multiple Federal felon." Over 1,000 people have been charged in connection with the Jan. 6 attack, with at least 335 receiving prison sentences.
