A North Dakota man, Steven Edward Riley Jr., died after being poisoned with antifreeze by his girlfriend, Ina Thea Kenoyer, who allegedly acted out of jealousy and financial motives. Riley was going to collect a $30 million inheritance check, but his family claims they had both been scammed and there was no money. The couple had unknowingly fallen victim to an online scam orchestrated by a stranger posing as a lawyer. Kenoyer, who believed she would share in the inheritance, allegedly fed Riley the poison after learning he planned to break up with her. Riley's son discovered the scam and the dire living conditions in their home after his father's death. Kenoyer is now facing charges and is being held without bond.
