Las Vegas teen charged after allegedly stabbing three horses at equestrian event

A teenage girl in Las Vegas was arrested and booked on 12 counts of animal cruelty and three counts of malicious destruction of property after allegedly stabbing three horses with a sharp object at the South Point equestrian center during the NBHA Vegas Super Show. The horses are expected to recover but will not compete; the teen was taken to Clark County Juvenile Hall.
