Louisiana Man Shoots Child During Game of Hide-and-Seek on His Property

A 14-year-old girl was shot in the back of the head while playing hide-and-seek outside a house in rural Louisiana. The homeowner, David Doyle, has been charged with aggravated assault and battery after he opened fire upon seeing "shadows outside his home". The shooting is the latest in a series of gun violence incidents involving young Americans, including a cheerleader who was shot after mistakenly trying to enter the wrong vehicle and a 20-year-old who was shot and killed after driving down the wrong driveway.
