Louisiana woman sentenced to 30 years for murder of 5-year-old boy found in Indiana suitcase

A Louisiana woman, Dawn Elaine Coleman, has been sentenced to 30 years in prison for her involvement in the murder of a 5-year-old boy from Atlanta, whose body was found in a suitcase in southern Indiana. The boy, Cairo Ammar Jordan, died from an electrolyte imbalance caused by gastroenteritis. Coleman and the boy's mother, Dejaune Ludie Anderson, had known each other for about a year and had been staying together in a home in Louisville. Coleman admitted to witnessing Anderson lying on top of Cairo and was asked to help put the boy's body into a trash bag and then into the suitcase. Anderson remains at large and is wanted on a murder charge.
