Man Arrested for Killing Amazon Driver in Lathrop Shooting

Andrew Christophe Watson, a 28-year-old man from Manteca, California, was arrested for homicide charges related to the shooting and killing of Ilkhom Shodiev, an Amazon big rig driver, on June 15 in Lathrop. Shodiev crashed into two parked unoccupied vehicles and a business after being shot. No one else was injured. The California Highway Patrol used surveillance cameras, witness statements, and tips from the public to identify the suspect. The motive for the shooting is still under investigation.
