Man with violent past charged in random stabbing attacks in Macomb County.

Shane Burns, a suspect with a lengthy criminal history, has been charged with stabbing two people, one of whom died, in apparently random attacks in Michigan. Burns was taken into custody after slitting his own wrist with a knife he reportedly grabbed from a police officer. The prosecutor says Burns has revealed nothing about his motive. He is being held on a $10 million cash surety bond and a probable cause hearing is scheduled for May 31.
