Manhunt Ends: Suspect Arrested in Fatal Shooting of Mother and Daughter

After a dayslong manhunt, 28-year-old Karel Mangual has been arrested in connection with the fatal shooting of Chasity Nunez and her 11-year-old daughter, Zella, in a parked car in Worcester, Massachusetts. A second suspect, 27-year-old Dejan Belnavis, was also taken into custody in California. The suspects were wanted on charges of armed assault to murder and carrying a firearm without a license, with their charges expected to be upgraded to murder. Police have not disclosed a possible motive for the shooting and have spoken with the victims' family following Belnavis' arrest.
