Marines Admit Guilt in Capitol Riot Case.

Two active-duty Marines, Joshua Abate and Dodge Dale Hellonen, pleaded guilty to a misdemeanor count of parading, demonstrating or picketing in a Capitol building related to their participation in the Jan. 6 Capitol riot. A third active-duty Marine, Micah Coomer, also pleaded guilty to the same charge in May. All three men face a maximum sentence of six months of imprisonment. Over 1,000 people have been charged with federal crimes for their conduct at the Capitol on Jan. 6, with approximately 600 of them pleading guilty.
